The Tatlarkhans have a goddess Tatla, who symbolizes growth, fertility, and the beauty of nature. She is depicted as an evergreen woman, her body adorned with flowers and leaves of varying shapes and shades. She is closely associated with bees, which are considered sacred creatures.
She is believed to govern all aspects of the plant world, including the cycle of flowering, fruiting, and decay.
The Rkhans hold annual festivals dedicated to the various stages of the plant life cycle. For example, the festival of the beginning of flowering is celebrated in spring, when all nature comes alive after winter. They adorn themselves with wreaths of fresh flowers and make alcohol from flowers, honey, nectar, juice, and something similar to cider.Furthermore, there is a custom of planting new seeds in front of the Tatla temples, expressing gratitude for the past year's harvest and hope for a new harvest. This ritual is accompanied by songs and dances.
The sacred book of the Rkhans is called "Bloom." It is a collection of stories and legends telling the story of the creation of the world, the first appearance of the gods, and the role of plants in the creation of the universe. One of the central tales tells how the first drop of rain fell to the earth, giving birth to the first plant, which subsequently gave rise to all the diversity of species.These legends emphasize the importance of cooperation with natural forces and the need to respect the environment. Each individual feels a connection to the earth and plants and recognizes their responsibility for maintaining the natural balance.
Rkhashies
Besides the social taboos, there's a special gesture involving removing a flower from the tail. These people are called Rkhashies. There is no "Tatla" at the beginning, as if a denial of the goddess
They either remove or install prosthetics the tip of their tail with spikes, as if imitating hornets, and deny their connection to ordinary Rkhans.
It's important to note, however, that the Rhashies don't necessarily pose a threat or danger to others. Many lead ordinary lives, pursuing crafts or the arts, maintaining neutrality in their relationships with other members of the race. However, most Rkhans prefer to avoid contact with them, considering them unpredictable and potentially dangerous.
Anatomy
A growth (sensory organ) hidden beneath the head leaves. Thanks to it, they have good intuition, the ability to recognize emotional backgrounds and perceive brain waves.
Mesmeric, telepathic, and esper abilities.
The rkhans are close relatives of the elpids.
In elpids, these growths are fully functional horns. Both races have the same internal structure.
There's a separate category of hunters who harvest this organ for the black market. It's believed that eating the growths can grant similar abilities or good fortune.
That's why Rkhanas don't often show off their abilities or expose these parts of their heads.
Due to their legs, their height ranges from 180-230cm, physically they are strong.
Bright color ,only the new generation growing in unsuitable conditions, without sun, has a pale color.
The new generation may have small ears
Rkhans have no hair/fur/horns. Their hair is replaced by thin plates that resemble tropical leaves or flowers. Dense, but flexible and elastic. Possible spines, cactus-like appearance. Two long vibrissae in place of the eyebrows
Smooth skin, partially covered with plates of scales. Rkhans skin feels like a banana. In some places their scales are denser and may move away from the body. They use it for protection, to damage the enemy.
Large tail completely covered with plates. (Almost like a fir cone), the tip of the tail unfolds like a flower and emits a scent. They can choose their partner by this smell.
Flesh (tongue, mouth, genitals) is always pink
The tail is strong enough that they can catch it on a branch, or hang on completely. Old plates are shed like old scales. Can shed its tail like a lizard. The Rkhan's tail begins to "bloom" at puberty. Then it blooms several times a year or at their own request.
Flat nose. Most often they have scales on the bridge of the nose.
Reproduction occurs sexually. The female carries a small, leathery egg. The egg is stored in a dark, warm place and grows in size, after which it unfolds into a baby-caterpillar. The stages of maturation are similar to frogs. At first they have no legs. Only arms and tail. Baby caterpillars are very nimble and active if they grow up in the right conditions.
They love water and are good swimmers.
Good intuition and recognition of emotional background through sensing brain waves. This can be called mesmeric or telepathic abilities. It is suspected that they have some kind of sensory organ(like growths) hiding under their head plates for this purpose which they don't talk about.
Able to repeat almost any sound, (like birds) copy and change voice.
